This recipe uses the Achari Tarka base, but you can use your favourite flavour Tarka jar too.
- 325g new potatoes (cut into halves)
- 240g chickpeas
- 1 pepper (sliced)
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Handful coriander
- 1 jar Achari Tarka base
- 70ml water
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the potatoes, pepper and chickpeas. Stir well and allow to cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add the jar of Achari Tarka base and add 70ml of water. Bring it to the boil and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with fragrant boiled rice or freshly made paratha.
